AOPA Aviation Summit 2010

This week Lou Meiners and Scott Battle attended and exhibited at the AOPA Conference in Long Beach, CA.  There were over 30 companies displaying aircraft and over 350 aviation exhibitors in the convention hall.  Mr. Meiners made a presentation at the conference entitled, “Tax Benefits and Aircraft Ownership”.   The presentation covered the various tax advantages available for business aircraft through proper planning and structuring.  This session was very timely given recent legislation that extended Bonus Depreciation for aircraft and which increased the Section 179 Expense Deduction.    Over 100 attendees participated in this session.
